It’s only been a few days since the launch of the all new MacBook and MacBook Pro but a lot has been written about it. I’ve taken the liberty of collecting some good reads about them. Something is looking up for Britney at last the troubled pop star has been voted one of Playboy magazine’s 25 Sexiest Celebrities.

The ‘Toxic’ singer has joined the likes of Beyonce Knowles, Angelina Jolie, Eva Mendes, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Alba and Scarlett Johansson on the list, named online by readers of the men’s publication.

Other stars on the list include Alicia Keys, Rose MCGowan, Denise Richards, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra.

Playboy boss Hugh Hefner’s girlfriend Holly Madison has also made it to the list alongside the tycoon’s other two current ‘girlfriends’ Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson.

Meanwhile Spears has finally been released from the psychiatric ward at UCLA Medical Center.

According to reports, the 26-year old singer slipped out quietly with the help of a private security detail and returned home after spending just 7 days in the hospital even though her psychiatrist, Dr. Deborah Nadel, had extended her stay to a 14-day involuntary hold till the next hearing of her case on 14th Feb.

Paris Hilton performing with pussycat dolls in her 27th birthday by performing with burlesque troupe the Pussycat Dolls in Las Vegas. The sexy socialite will host an 80s-theme party at Los Angeles club Area this weekend before heading off to Sin City in her underwear.

She says, “I’m going to perform with the Pussycat Dolls. I’m going to go to Pure and LAX.”

Hilton turns 27 on February 17 and admits there’s only one major thing on her wish list an English lover. She adds, “There are cute boys in London. I have to go over there and check them out.”

The reality major Emmar MGF Land is coming with a proposed IPO of 10.25 crore equity shares of Rs 10 each in the price band of Rs 610 & Rs 690.The issue has already started and will be closed on Feb 6th.It is being touted as the third largest IPO after Reliance power IPO and DLF IPO.

Its basically a Dubai based reality company which has a share of 41.9 in the joint venture where as MGF Development of India holds 53.3 per cent stake in the company.So thats the company structure.The company has 13000 acres of land as of Dec 31st and many big projects under their belt.They work in variety of construction areas like commercial, residential , retail,hospitality,education and health care.

At the lower end of the price band it will rake in $1.58 billion and at the upper price band a whopping $ 1.79 billion.The proceeds of the issue will be utilized  in the development of properties,construction in the projects they are handling and part financing the acquisition of land.It has some big projects like development of Delhi Airport,common wealth games village project etc.

But many stock market analyst are in a view that the issue may not be a big hit in this around as the markets and the investors are still recovering from the aftershocks of Jan ‘08 crash.Investors are asked to wait till the Reliance Power IPO comes in and see how it performs and then apply for the issue.Meanwhile CARE the rating agency has given the issue 4 out of 5 indicating above average fundamentals for the company.Investors are asked to invest cautiously in this IPO.
