Eating some good cheese is one of my weaknesses, but I’m not sure if I can take it to the next level that these cheese eating combatants have in the video.

snapture

I’m not one of the few chosen or choose few that has an iPhone, but the won’t keep me from letting you know about a slick little website that lets iPhone users really showcase and highlight the pics they can take with their iPhone.

The website that’s going to make that happen is Snapture.

What exactly is the goal behind Snapture and the folks that develop it though?

At Snapture, we believe that mobile photography is the way of the future. But although more and more people are taking photos on their cell phones, we think the tools available to take such pics are still relatively simplistic. Our goal is to help people take better mobile pictures by enhancing the quality and sophistication of the camera software on your cell phones.

Snapture just loads your iPhone with a collection of additional features and controls that make taking pics more fun and more interesting. Just check-out this feature list to get an idea of what you can do: geotagging, color modes, multi-shots, thumbnail mgmt, gesture zoom, auto-rotation, set touch zone, quiet mode and more.

With Snapture and your iPhone, maybe you folks will actually move another step closer to having one device that really can do just about everything you need.

Now, go hang-up your phone and start taking some photos with Snapture!

Part of uncovering great and interesting sites is to take advantage of finding them no matter where they come from on the web right?

PC Magazine has an article where they are highlighting The Top 100 Undiscovered Web Sites.

The editors have broken down their list into the following categories:

  • Apps and Services
  • Fun and Games
  • Health and Science
  • Info, Search, and Reference
  • Lifestyle
  • Money and Real Estate
  • Music
  • News
  • Photo
  • Shopping
  • Social Networking
  • Technology
  • Travel and Maps

Every single category is loaded with great, helpful and interesting websites. I’d love to hear what some of your favorites are in each category. Which ones are you using? Which ones should I be immediately saving to my list of bookmarks for future and repeated use?

One thing I’ve been looking for on the article though is a link to a zip file of all the sites that you can quickly load into your favorites. They used to do that on previous articles didn’t they? Or was that PC World’s version of their lists?

Uncover an undiscovered website of your own with PC Magazine.

UPDATE: Here’s the link to download the ZIP file with all the sites.

recycle-bin-therapy

A friend sent this to me via e-mail and I thought it was pretty funny. With the elections coming up in the near future this may make some of you feel a little better each day.

START EACH DAY WITH A POSITIVE OUTLOOK

  1. Open a new file in your computer.
  2. Name it ‘Barack Obama’.
  3. Send it to the Recrycle Bin.
  4. Empty the Recycle Bin.
  5. Your PC will ask you: ‘Do you really want to get rid of ‘Barack Obama?’
  6. Firmly Click ‘Yes.’
  7. Feel better?

GOOD! - Tomorrow we’ll do Kwame Kilpatrick!

Of course you can substitute your own choice if you’d like.
