Can I Make a bar graph in Excel with multiple start and end dates?

I have a table where column B lists team names (teams will have multiple entries). Five columns over (G) has the start date and (H) has the end date. Column C shows the location. I want a bar graph where the y-axis lists each team name, and there will be a bar from start to end date (so there can be more than one bar per team or in other words more than one bar per row). If possible, the bar will contain the location.

What you are describing is called a Gantt chart. Do a Web search for “Excel Gantt chart” and you will find a wealth of tutorials and templates.

There are two basic techniques:
1.) Use a floating bar chart to represent the timelines
2.) Use conditional formatting to color cells to represent timelines.
