I was watching the live feed of the MacWorld 09 keynote over at MacRumors via their macrumorslive.com web site. Suddenly some random messages started to appear, one of them even stated “Steve Jobs just died”.

It was soon followed by profanity and some sleazy messages. MacRumors was hacked. The site went down after some time. As of this writing the site is still down.

I just saw this video shared on my Facebook. An extraordinary jump. At the very beginning of the video you can see him do the jump without the skateboard as well.

Whoa! Very impressive!

The jumper’s name is Jeremy Wray. I haven’t heard of him until today.

Ok, so I got a phone call this morning from a friend. He was feeling frustrated because he couldn’t send and receive email. He decided to delete his Apple Mail account and create a new one hoping that would solve his problem. To his horror he saw that his Inbox has been deleted as well. It didn’t occur to him that all of his messages would be lost as well. Panic ensues, text messages were sent, phone calls were made.

Luckily Christopher at AWP has posted a step by step procedure on how to recover deleted email as a result of deleting your account. It involves Data Rescue II, emlxconvert and an external hard drive. Looking through it the procedure doesn’t seem to be that complicated.

Steve Jobs in a rare feat, opened up his health condition partially to the public. He disclosed that the reason for his weight loss was due to a hormonal imbalance. He stated that he has begun treatment for it and that the treatment was relatively simple and straightforward. His doctors have said that the path to gaining back his weight would take same time. They are anticipating Steve to regain his weight towards the end of spring.

Stock prices of Apple took a slight jump. As of this writing it’s trading at around $94.93 dollars, up by 4.5%. The market responded favorably to Steve’s disclosure.

Speculations have been made in the past and with this statement, other theories will arise. But personally, no matter what it is, I wish Steve Jobs the ideal of health and hope that he does see some of his weight come back.
