Over the last week or so, I’ve spent more time than I wish to admit, watching these six Shiba Inu puppies (Autumn, Ayumi, Amaya, Aki, Akoni and Ando) don’t much more than sleep and occasionally bat each other with their clumsy paws. It’s live, and won’t be around forever because these babies are five weeks old and will soon be too massive to scrunch into a large puppy ball.

First, let me just give a massive thank you to Mr. Jason De Villa for allowing me to post his x-ray MacBook image. Family aside, you sir are my current favorite person in the world!

My post about his x-ray image made it to the front page of Digg.com. Woohoo! This just made one of my small dreams come true. I’ve always wanted to get a post/entry in the front page of Digg.com. Now it’s a reality.

The post also got featured in other web sites. Most notably Gizmodo and The Cult of Mac. Yay!

What can I say, this day has been wonderful. Thanks again Jason! I owe you one!

As I write this, my dog Henry, a daschund, is happily chewing his “Pig in a Blanket,” a rubber treat dispenser. I stuffed one of his favorite biscuits into the bottom of the pig and Henry is going “hog-wild.” (Sorry.)

What’s more, the plastic piggie is “wrapped” in bacon and gives off the scent of one of dog’s favorite foods, so Henry will be busy for a long time to come. $9.99 from Fat Cat and Bamboo Pets, who have make some of the most creative and playful dog (and cat) toys.
