What more I need to use my DVD player as Home Theater?

I have LG D447 DVD Player 5.1 channel with 2000 amplifier. I too own two Philips 8 OHM Speakers (Box) and Sony’s 21″ TV. What more I need to use my DVD player as Home Theater?

I don’t really understand what your asking. Is it, do you need anything else? If that’s the question, your home theartre should sound great and maybe later you could add a blu ray player that connects to the internet to stream movies. As the prices go down try to upgrade to a larger lcd or plasma tv. Soon tv’s will connect to the internet for streaming movies and music.
