How can I cover up a dent on my glass living room table?

Hey everyone,
So I have this glass living room table with a wooden base. My sister accidently bumped her glass on the edge of the glass and it dented with a little piece of glass flying off. I tried gluing back the piece, but it keeps on comming off. Is there anything I can do to fill that dent up? Please help me out!

Glass doesn’t dent, it breaks. You can try buying glue that will repair glass but even if the glue is clear, the repair will still show. Another possibility is to take the glass to a glass shop, after calling them to find out if they can cut your piece of glass smaller or polish the broken area or if they have any other suggestions other than replacing the glass.
