Should I screw my rear surround speaker back onto the wall in order to hear the sound?
I’m using an Insignia 6.1 home theater amp with 5.1 speakers…is it the surround amp or the speaker? I tried everything (straightening out and tightening the speaker wires so that everything’s connected), and all I get is 4.1 surround sound (3 front, one rear, one sub). I guess I should invest in buying wireless speakers since I have a small room, and maybe a next gen audio amp.
to only get 4.1 sound means you must not have the speakers hooked up correctly out of the reciever. changing speakers wont help if you dont connect them properly. also make sure the output source on the reciever is set for 5.1
