What is the difference between 5.1 and 2.1 audio Home Theater Systems?
What is the difference between 5.1 and 2.1 audio Home Theater Systems? I’m thinking about gettin surround sound for my room and want to get the best quality sound without unnecessary extras like radio, mp3 plug in, etc. The only times it will be used are for movies, T.V. and video games. what should I get? 5.1 or 2.1?
5.1 is 5 speakers and a subwoofer.
2.1 is 2 speakers and a subwoofer.
For movies, T.V., and Video Games, definitely go with the 5.1 Surround Sound. You’ll love the sound and it is amazing. It’s worth the extra money.
