I want to setup a home theatre using my PC. help me?
I have a PC with a built in 5.1 channel sound card. Instead of going for a multimedia speaker(where no other options is available like playing cd or connecting my TV), i would like to go for Hi-fi music system or home theatre where i can connect my 5.1 output from my PC to it. Is there Hi-fi music system or home theatre available. If yes, what model is that. If know is there any alternative or guide to make this done
If you want sound that approaches “hi-fi” quality, you need a state of the art sound card. The one you get with the motherboard will only produce mid-level quality at best. After you get a high quality sound card, you can get an adapter that will allow you to plug the RCA connectors into it. It still won’t sound as good as a hi-fi receiver, but it will allow you to play all the multimedia files on your hard drive.
