How do I improve the sound output from my Sony Bravia LCD TV?
I have a 32″ Sony Bravia Lcd Tv. The picture quality is superb, but the sound isn’t. It’s better than other Lcd’s, but nothing in comparison to my old Sony Kirara Basso model. How can I improve the sound output? I don’t want a home theatre system. The TV has loads of ports to connect almost anything. But after reading the manual, I couldn’t figure out if my TV can power the external speakers or not. Do I just need two external speakers? Or even an amplifier to power the speakers?
IF YOU HAVE SPEAKER OUTPUTS OR A MINI JACK ON THE BACK OF THE TV THEN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO HOOK UP A SET OF SPEAKERS. YOU’LL BE USING THE SAME AMP AS THE TV SPEAKERS SO DON’T EXPECT A BIG DIFFERENCE. (UNLESS YOU USE AMPLIFIED COMPUTER SPEAKERS).
YOU CAN HOOK THE TV TO YOUR AUDIO SYSTEM BY HOOKING THE TV TO YOUR AMP, PREFERABLY VIA THE DIGITAL INPUT.
NO NEED TO HAVE SURROUND SOUND FOR A BIG IMPROVEMENT IN SOUND.
