intel Core i3 Vs i5 for desktop?

I would like to configure my own pc . Suggest me some good configuration. Which process is good for playing games and watch HD movies (i3 or i5). suggest me some good graphics card also.I am going to arrange home theater with pc.
Suggest me the good motherboard for the Intel core i5 processor. I would like to add 5 in 1 home theater speaker in it.

For home theater i think intel i3 would already be good.Intel i5 and i7 only beat i3 in term of performance but for graphic their capability is still the same for graphic card some good graphic cards are:
