i have a 1,000 watt surround sound system and want to put in a 2200 watt subwoofer. do i need an amp or what?
i need to know if i need an amp because it will blow the system or something
Is the 2200 watts the rated power handling capacity or the rated power? If the former you need an amp. If the latter it has an amp built in and you don’t.
