HEY I NEED SOME HELP SHOULD I KEEP MY YAMAHA YHT-493 THAT I BOUGHT YESTERDAY OR GET THE Onkyo HT-S5300 7.1-Cha?

I know in my prev. answer that the Onkyo has a slight edge**
Well, I said Slight*.
Either system will do great. The Onkyo may be louder — and slightly better in quality… but depends which you like.
You should have 30days to return the Yamaha… so give it a chance.
Yamaha makes great products – I had a set of similar speakers [but back then, they use to use MDF for cabinets... your's uses plastic-which is one of my only concerns].
Yamaha does use good quality drivers and well though out designs — IF you have any doubt… then return it and get the Onkyo.
